The award will be presented at a gala luncheon on September 28th during Createasphere's Digital Asset Management Conference and Exhibition.
The goal of the DAMMY Awards is to raise awareness of the evolving and crucial role of digital asset management (DAM); to promote creative and technical excellence in the field; and to recognize notable achievements in DAM. It has grown to be an important and meaningful event in the digital asset management community, and the 2012 Awards mark the third edition of the popular show.
The DAMMY of the Year honors an outstanding individual or organization that has positively impacted the success and growth of the DAM industry and community. We feel privileged to be recognized by a jury of our peers and look forward to continuing our work with industry experts to push the advancement of asset management and workflow innovation."
5th Kind has managed the digital asset workflows on over 35 Hollywood blockbuster films including The Avengers, Men in Black 3, Man of Steel, Ender's Game, and notably, Marvel has standardized their entire studio on the platform.
